Course Description

<p>This course is for STME/ASTMEs and individuals identified for progression into those roles. It is designed to develop both technical and management skills and is therefore particularly suited to persons required to prove their capability in these areas.</p> <p>The focus of the course is to ensure that delegates understand their responsibilities for managing planning activities in accordance with the relevant Network Rail standards. Using a blend of scenario based exercises and group discussion, the course content enables delegates to:</p> <p>Effectively manage planning activities within the scope of their responsibilities</p> <p>Apply the best practice approach for meeting the planning requirements of the role</p> <p>Demonstrate the ability to provide evidence that the planning requirements of the role have been completed</p> <p>Create a pro-active, safety driven approach to planning within their teams and the Delivery Unit</p>
